J e prends des cours de guitare avec Mathieu depuis quelques semaines et, déjà, j'ai pu noter une nette amélioration dans mon jeu. Je joue de la guitare depuis plusieurs années et j'avais « de la misère » à progresser. Dès le début des cours, Mathieu m'a aidé à définir mes objectifs et m'a enseigner une méthode claire, structurée et très efficace pour m'améliorer. De fait, les résultats se sont fait sentir très rapidement.  J e joue de la guitare depuis plusieurs années et ce, de façon autodidacte.J'avais envie d'en apprendre davantage pour élargir mes horizons musicaux et mieux comprendre ce que je fais. Comme j'ai déjà de l'expérience de scène en interprétation, je voulais en connaitre plus sur la théorie musicale et l'improvisation. Ses leçons sont très bien bâties et elles s'adaptent facilement à nos buts musicaux.  L a formule de cours par correspondance me plaît énormément! Je reçois une leçon tous les mois qui inclut une instruction audio personalisée et des vidéos de chacun des exercices. Chaque leçon contient assez de matériel à pratiquer pour tout un mois.  J ulie est mon professeur depuis deux sessions. J'avais hâte de continuer mes cours, car j'aime la guitare et Julie me transmet sa passion de la musique. Lorsqu'elle est avec moi pendant les 45 minutes que dure mon cours, ensemble nous repassons les pièces apprises et les commentaires qu'elle me donne m'aident à progresser.

A yant plus ou moins de connaissance en guitare, mais une grande motivation à apprendre, j'ai décidé l'hiver dernier de suivre des cours de guitare avec Alexandre.
II m'a également transmis beaucoup d'outils afin d'être autonome dans mes apprentissages. De plus, les cours et les discussions étaient agréables et pertinentes. Merci mille fois !

I was playing, or rather ''scratching' 'a little acoustic guitar, songs I had been learning all alone up to there. Another interesting aspect of the course is that it is a very personalized approach. G reetings to all musicians who stumbled on this website by accident: you just found a unique way to facilitate your musical development! I've always been a self-taught guitarist for 7-8 years and I needed to find something to facilitate my guitar learning because it sometimes take someone to show you the right path. I found the website QuébecGuitare by searching on the internet, I have filled up the online form and then 2 days later I already had a meeting with Alex. You explain your goals to him, what you want to learn and he will build a guitar program for you by targeting problems and finding proper solutions. For my part, I was looking for theoretical concepts explanations on scales and mode that I missed and I had some constructive criticism to allow me to progress. Basically, if it tempts you to learn in a relaxed environnement with a competent teacher and passionate about teaching, I would advise you to try these lesson.

A fter a certain period of inactivity came back to guitar. I have revisited all my guitar techniques. From A to Z! Whatever the number of hours that I could spend on the electric guitar I was doing very small progress to no progress at all. How do I know? While analysing my guitar playing in my band and trying to improve my technique without success. Now I hear clearly the sound I produce, really! In 2 weeks, I have grown much more than 2 months with the old technique. I even started to compose for my band ... I had not done it for a long time. Thanks to Alex!

I have been playing the guitar for a few years for pure pleasure. I enjoy playing different styles, both old classics, folk, blues, acoustic rock, classical, and finally I became interested in Flamenco. As it is a very technical style I decided to join in Alexander guitar program. I was totally satisfied! I followed a condensed session but it allowed me to have the basics of flamenco for me to practice this style and have fun in the process. Thereby, improve by myself. He taught me many basic techniques and provided me with appropriate exercises and written explanations, which helped me a lot (the guy did not have much memory, what can you do heh...). As I always I learned by myself, it also gave me some theoretical concepts to help me better understand what I was doing and thus help to improve myself even faster.

I started playing the guitar a few years ago, when my sister in law kindly lent me hers. After learning a few songs by myself here and there, I felt the need to go further to deepen my knowledge in music. I tried many methods, but I was getting stuck! A good opportunity also to discipline one self to open up to new horizons in order to say what we say with the instrument. P Why did I choose Québecguitare.com? From 1998 to 2002, before Alexander moved out from the suburb, we had the pleasure to hear him practice for hours and times in his backyard. Late summer 2003, I learned that this former neighbor who handled both the Flamenco that heavy metal was also a teacher. The only problem was that he was in very high demand for guitar lessons. So there was an initial meeting to assess whether or not he had time to help me I remember telling him then that my goal was to be able one day to move my fingers on the guitar as the letters of a text is written. P racticing guitar with Alexander allowed me to release a technical impasse that lasted for years. It was good to find and isolate problems in my technique so I could fix things and move foward. He has demonstrated patience and understanding from my development. The guitar lessons with Alex has been a great help to my understanding of music theory, in composition / solos and for my technique and dexterity on the guitar. Thus, applying them on the violin. My approach to this instrument improves as a two for one!
